The Bellingham Public Schools district has canceled classes for Wednesday, Jan. 18, in the face of inclement weather.
No further information was offered in the statement at the district website, which was posted early Tuesday evening, Jan. 17.
Western Washington is bracing for a blustery winter storm, packing 35-mph winds with temperatures in the 20s and the possibility of more snow - anywhere from a few inches to as much as a foot.
All school and district activities are cancelled, including athletics, practices/rehearsals, activities including field trips, and all meetings and events.
