The problem with our economy is not the government, it's not the banks, it's not big business and it's not China. From the rich all the way down to the welfare rolls, I believe Americans seem to have a sense of entitlement that goes beyond reason. We're a bunch of spoiled people who have raised an entire generation of spoiled children.
Time to wake up! The ugly truth is that for years many Americans have not been working hard enough. It's time to stop complaining and start being productive. Stop complaining that your extended benefits are running out. Stop complaining that there are no jobs that pay what you need to make. Stop complaining that your welfare check doesn't keep up with inflation. Stop complaining that someone else ruined the economy. We did this to ourselves.
Remain open to change. Be willing to retrain and take part-time or entry-level work. Help your neighbors, volunteer, mow lawns, wash windows. Whatever it takes. Activity can bring about opportunity. I was unemployed. Now I'm working full time. It's not because I'm "one of the lucky ones," it's because I made it happen. Let's pick up the pace, people!
