The Whatcom Community College women's basketball team committed 34 turnovers en route to losing 63-43 against North Idaho in its final game of the Lower Columbia Tournament on Friday, Dec. 30.
In Whatcom's final game before returning to conference play, it held North Idaho to 2 of 20 from the 3-point line, but its turnovers were a season-high.
Allie Holterman led the Orcas with 13 points, while Kellie Fluit added 10. Cambie Edwards collected a game-high 15 rebounds to go with four points.
Korina Baker and Katie Buskey each scored 11 points to lead North Idaho.
