BELLINGHAM -- Drivers are reporting a semi-truck broke an axle and is stuck on Meridian Street near Telegraph Road.
It happened about 1:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, when the truck was in the northbound lanes.
The area was already busy with holiday shoppers, and traffic was expected to back up until the truck can be removed.
