Blaine boys' basketball team stayed close throughout, but fell away in the fourth quarter before losing to Sedro-Woolley 59-51 in a Northwest Conference game on Tuesday, Dec. 20, at home.
Blaine held a one-point lead entering the fourth quarter, but was outscored 20-13 on its way to suffering its first conference loss.
Blaine fell to 3-6 overall and 1-1 in the NWC.
Isaac Bianchini led Sedro-Woolley with a game-high 21 points, while grabbing a team-best six rebounds. Aaron Stroosma had 15 points.
Andrew Price returned to Blaine's lineup and scored a team-high 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.
Blaine travels to Lynden Christian next on Jan. 2.
