Chihuahua's has been a downtown Ferndale favorite for decades, with families coming from all over the county to taste the home-style Mexican dishes.
The expansive restaurant is regularly filled with families, teenagers, couples on dates and groups of adults. Tables in the brightly decorated space are frequently covered with sizzling plates of meat, cheese and rice, large margaritas, and warm baskets of tortilla chips and salsa.
And now the downtown-Ferndale favorite has a mobile Bellingham location. The food truck, Ah Chihuahua, is regularly parked on Iowa Street near Windsor Plywood.
