The Whatcom Community College men's basketball team dominated the second half against South Puget Sound to win 90-65 on Saturday, Dec. 10, despite trailing at halftime.
Whatcom outscored South Puget Sound 53-30 in the second half. Patrick Voeut scored a game-high 23 points.
"We came out really slow," Whatcom coach Chris Scrimsher said in a phone interview. "We started off playing their style. The second half we played our style of basketball and started creating for each other well."
The Orcas shot 71 percent from the field in the second half. Marcus Bagnerise scored 17 points and Will Perry had 16.
