After seeing the police reaction to the peaceful protest at U.C. Davis, I was appalled. As a retired police officer I was ashamed. I think that every one of the officers involved should be investigated and prosecuted for his/her involvement in what I believe to be illegal activity. Furthermore, I think that each police supervisor and each school officer who ordered this pepper-spray activity should also be prosecuted and then removed as an employee of the school.
