Bill and Helen Thayer of Burlington will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on November 24, 2011. They were married in Anacortes WA in 1961.

To celebrate, they will be taking a Mexican cruise in 2012.

Bill and Helen have four children, Shelly (Clyde) and granddaughter Erika of Vancouver, WA; Stacy (John) with grandson Jake and granddaughter Rose of Lynden, WA; Scott (Alison) of Bellingham, WA; Lori (Jon) and grandsons Evan and Justin of Bellingham, WA.
