Deanna Jeanne Wilson and Daniel Steen Merz were married September 10th at Trinity Lutheran Church in Bellingham. A reception followed at Northwood Hall. The bride is the daughter of William and Cynthia Wilson of Shoreline, WA. The bridegroom is the son of Stephen and Sonya Merz of Union Gap, WA. Kristyn Young was maid of honor and Kyle Roosendaal was best man. Candlelighters were Melanie Merz and Gabrielle Merz. Ushers were Christopher Fitchette, Gurband Mann and John Stewart. Both the bride and bridegroom graduated from Western Washington University. Mrs. Merz is currently employed by Christ Lutheran Church as the choir director and is a voice teacher. Mr. Merz is currently employed at Olive Garden and attending on-line classes at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. Following a wedding trip to the San Juans, the couple are at home in Bellingham.
