Robbery targets new sports bar in Lacey

Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at 2:14 p.m. Wednesday at Native New Yorker, a new sports bar and restaurant in the 4000 block of Pacific Avenue.

Lacey Police Cmdr. Jim Mack said that a man implied to employees that he had a firearm, took an undisclosed amount of cash, and then ran away after the robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male with a goatee. He was wearing a red baseball hat and a beige hoodie.
