Andrew Mihovilovich scored two goals and added an assist for the Whatcom Community College men's soccer team in a 3-1 Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges victory on Saturday, Oct. 15, at Shoreline.

"I thought we stayed pretty consistent with what we did," Orcas coach Joel Grossman said in a phone interview. "We kept our pressure up and what we were doing up and out worked them and out hustled them. We were very consistent today. I would say it was one of our best games this year."

Mihovilovich got things started for WCC (4-5-1, 3-4-1 NWAACC) in the 22nd minute with an unassisted hustle goal.

After Shoreline came back to tie things up, he then assisted Brent Ahrens' goal in the 65th minute, before taking an assist from Adrian Tarkington to scored the game clincher in the 75th minute.

Grossman said he was also pleased by the play of his defense and the way Dalton Rockwell "played a nice holding mid for us and won a ton of balls."

The Orcas next host Skagit Valley College in a 4:15 p.m. game on Wednesday, Oct. 19.
