BELLINGHAM - Community members and families of Western Washington University students are invited to three days of events in October for the annual Fall Family Open House.
Throughout the weekend of Friday, Oct. 21 through Sunday, Oct. 23, WWU's campus will be filled with events designed to showcase what the university has to offer.
Below is a look at some of the events scheduled for the weekend. To purchase tickets, visit tickets.wwu.edu and click on the "Buy WWU tickets" link. Events without a cost listed are free.
- "A Conversation with Lesley Dill," Friday at 1 p.m., Old Main Theatre.
- Rainbow Creek Dancers, Friday at 7:30 p.m., Performing Arts Center mainstage. Tickets $15.
- "The Art of Robert Davidson," Western Gallery, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
- Planetarium shows, "American Indian Star Lore" and "Zodiac," at 7 and 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
- Department open houses, Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Campus sculpture tour, Saturday, 3 p.m.
- Women's and men's soccer, Saturday, 4:30 and 7 p.m. respectively, Whatcom Community College soccer complex. Tickets $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors and $3 for WWU students and employees.
At least one event - "Whose Live Anyway" on Saturday night - is already sold out.
