Todd Beamer High School in Federal Way will receive one of the Fuel Up To Play 60 grants for the 2011-2012 academic year from the Washington State Dairy Council. The $3,000 grant will be used in part to launch a media campaign encouraging students to choose milk over soda.
Fuel Up to Play 60 is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program launched by the National Dairy Council, the Washington State Dairy Council and the NFL/Seattle Seahawks, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
