St. Francis of Bellingham would like to rave about a couple of local businesses and their ongoing generosity to our residents.
Valeri Wade and Tom Campbell of the Wild Bird Chalet are currently running a campaign in the store to collect birdfeeders and "seed money" for the many birdfeeders that grace each resident room window at St. Francis. Tom also cleans, fills, and maintains over 60 birdfeeders for our residents' ongoing enjoyment.
The other business we would like to rave about is Trader Joe's. Trader Joe's generously donates its "spoiled" flowers to St. Francis, and our floral volunteers only need to do a little rearranging to make them into beautiful bouquets that they deliver to all of our rooms. In addition, they have provided many "unsellable" plants that have been brought back to life in our intergenerational gardens.
Thanks for letting us rave about two businesses that help us achieve our mission "To enhance the life of everyone we serve."
