The fourth annual Whatcom County Farm Tour on Saturday, Sept. 10, is the perfect day to meet local farmers, learn about their products and farms, and taste the bounty our region has to offer.
People can stop by any of the venues from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sponsored by Sustainable Connections, the free, self-guided tour offers educational and interactive activities at each stop, products for sale at farm stands, and several bicycle routes.
Participants include BelleWood Acres, Bellingham Country Gardens, Boxx Berry Farm, Camelot Ranch Alpacas, Cloud Mountain Farm, Dakota Creek Winery, Edelweiss Dairy, Farmer Ben's, Half Acre Farm, Heritage Lane Farm, Twisted S Ranch, Wake Robin Farm, Vartanyan Estate Winery and Bellingham Farmers Market.
