State Department cites pipeline disaster's impact on Bellingham housing prices (Politics Blog)

In a draft environmental impact statement supplement on the Keystone Pipeline project to carry Canada’s tar sands crude oil to the U.S. Gulf Coast for refining (a project highly unpopular in some circles) the U.S. Department of State cites a 2006 study from three Western Washington University professors that attempted to measure the 1999 Olympic Pipe Line disaster’s effects on housing prices.
