Jesse Whitney win the 410 feature, Mack Brown captured the 360 Sprint main, Justin Youngquist won his second straight feature in the Sportsman Sprints and Tyler Ketchum was the Outlaw Hornet winner in Saturday, Aug. 28, action at Skagit Speedway.

In the 410 division point leader Whitney cruised around a spinning Otto Jorgenson on the second lap to take the lead and hold on for the 25-lap main event victory. Whitney won the heat and Travis Jacobson set the fast time at 11.559.

Jacobson set the fast time for the Budweiser 360 Sprints as well with a 12.327 clocking. Kelsey Carpenter and Mack Brown won the heat races. In the 25-lap main, Rod Perkins held the top spot for the first 15 laps before Brown took over the top spot. A lap 22 caution tightened the field and Brown and Jacobson went wheel to wheel almost turning both cars over coming out of turn two before both collected themselves and raced to the line for the victory. Mack Brown the winner, Jacobson, Perkins, Bud Ashe and Devin Madonia rounding out the top five.

The last two Cook Road Shell Sportsman Sprint mains have been won by Justin Youngquist. Youngquist split two cars coming out of turn two on the opening lap to lead and was never headed the remaining 20 go-arounds. Brandon Harkness peaked at the rear nerf bar a few times but could not get around the young racer for the top spot. Cory Swatzina and point leader Derek Roberts were the heat race winners.

In a wild Outlaw Hornet feature which was called after 15 laps and the time limit as the third rollover of the event brought out the red flag. Greg Hibma, Adam Holtrop and Wade Swatzina all got serious air in their rollovers. Tyler Ketchum was declared the winner with Freddy Vela and Eric Thibert second and third. Ketchum and Rick Young won the heat races.
