BELLINGHAM - Members of Whatcom County's Hispanic community will have a chance to learn about services and agencies open to them in the area at the Latino resource fair Saturday, July 23.
The fair will feature workshops, information booths and entertainment, and will run from 11 a.m. to about 3 p.m. at Bloedel-Donovan Park. It's free and open to the public.
"As a pastor I see great need in the Latino community for having the right information," said organizer Alex Nino, pastor at Roca Fuerta Ministries. "The idea is to gather all the Latino and Hispanic community in Whatcom County and invite all the companies and agencies that offer services to the Hispanic community. I have noticed that some families don't know the different agencies that can offer help to them."
