Joseph Padilla recently opened Tint Worx, a company that installs a polyester film laminate over the glass on the inside of vehicle windows.

The business is at 5869 Portal Way, Suite 107, in Ferndale. Padilla said in a press release the laminate not only lowers the temperature inside the car during the warmer months and blocks more ultra-violet rays, it helps stop glass from shattering during an accident. The company is a Huper Optik dealer and authorized installer.
