Lemon Balm Pasta

The National Chincoteague Pony Association Farm, 2595 Jensen Road near Bellingham, offers this pasta dish season with lemon balm from their fields.

LEMON BALM PASTA

Ingredients

Fresh tomatoes

Garlic, crushed

Butter

Olive oil

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 sliced zucchini

1 cup cream

Salt

Pepper

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Lemon Balm, shredded

Spaghetti

Directions

Sauté fresh tomatoes, garlic crushed in butter mixed with olive oil.

Add Italian seasoning and sliced zucchini and cook lightly.

Add cream and simmer.

Taste and add salt and pepper and Parmesan cheese.

Add shredded Lemon Balm.

Cook spaghetti in seasoned water.

Add spaghetti to cream sauce when al dente.
