John's Chem-Dry of Whatcom County recently decreased its energy consumption and increased cleaning results by purchasing new equipment.

John Hess, the company's owner, recently acquired new truck-mounted cleaning equipment: the Chem-Dry 4800 Direct Drive system. Hess is the first of more than 2,000 Chem-Dry franchises to use the Direct Drive unit.

John's Chem-Dry of Whatcom County uses a "green cleaning" process. The Chem-Dry proprietary carbonated cleaning system is unique for sending millions of carbonating bubbles deep within the carpet fibers to dissolve and extract dirt and stains, according to a company press release.
