BELLINGHAM - The Pickford Film Center will celebrate its 11th anniversary by screening Mary Pickford's "Cinderella" at noon Sunday, Nov. 22, at the Pickford Cinema, 1416 Cornwall Ave.
Admission is 10 cents per person, and all attendees will receive a free cupcake, a Pickford tradition, said Alice Clark, Pickford Film Center executive director.
Mary Pickford was already the darling of the cinema when the 1914 version of the classic fairy tale was filmed. Owen Moore, who plays Prince Charming, was Pickford's husband at the time. The silent move runs 52 minutes.
