Matrix's Bellingham facility reaches job safety milestone

Matrix Service Inc. recently reached a milestone in job safety for its work at the Shell Puget Sound Refinery in Anacortes.

The contractor's Bellingham division compiled one million working hours without an OSHA recordable injury.

This achievement is due in large part to Matrix Service's consistent focus on safety resulting from its ongoing training, communication, employee safe behavior and, most importantly, the dedication of its employees, according to a company press release. On Sept. 30, the company and the Shell refinery celebrated the milestone.
