  Earlier openings and entertainment are the theme for this year's day-after Thanksgiving shopping extravaganza, with more Bellingham stores than ever opting for a midnight opening.

  Some stores are adding a little fun for those waiting in line: Bellingham's Best Buy, which is opening at midnight for the first time, has a free showing of the movie "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" on outdoor big screens. The movie starts at 9 p.m. The store also plans on serving some snacks and beverages, as well as raffle off gift cards, said Brittany Gidican, a spokeswoman for Best Buy.
