Angela Beld and Johnathan Engels were united in marriage on August 14, 2009 at Hotel Bellwether in Bellingham. With Michael Slofstra officiating. The bride is a daughter of Michael and Skye Hill of Blaine and Dean and Shelly Beld of Everson. Terry and Sharon Engels of Lynden, are the parents of the groom. Alyssa Ellingboe served as matron of honor and Katherine Groen as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Bovenkamp, Rebecca Haynes, Asialee Hill, and Lesha Engels. Audrey Ellingboe served as flower girl. Serving as best man was Dana Engels, with Ben Kaemingk, Jerry Petersen, Brent Ahrens, Peter Ellingboe, and Jess Kenoyer serving as groomsmen. Joshua Slofstra was the ringbearer. They're both graduates of Lynden Christian. Johnathan will be graduating from WSU in May, obtaining his Civil Engineering degree. After a wedding trip to the Caribbean the couple resides in Pullman.
