One of the venerable Sinlahekin waters, Fish is a good first angling stop in this out of the way valley. Like the majority of managed Okanogan lakes, trout are the headliners, but expect spiny rays to make an appearance at the end of your line.

Angler notes: Expect the bulk of the catch to be 11-12 inchers, but a few carryovers to 15 inches. Camping space is available. Makes a good base camp for fishing in this locale.

Open water: 100 acres.

Season: Last Saturday in April to October 31.

Angling quarry here: Rainbows.

Stocking for 2008: 36,590 rainbow fingerlings.

Special rules: Season only, otherwise statewide size and bag limits apply.

Boat launches: Two WDFW gravel ramps at either end of this mile-long lake.

Getting there: Take Highway 20 to the Okanogan River valley. Drive north from Omak past Riverside and turn left on Pine Creek Road. Drive west to the lake.
