The Bellingham-based Slum Doctor Programme brings the world-acclaimed Sierra Leones Refugee All-Stars to the Nightlight Lounge, 211 E. Chestnut St., at 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 20. The event is part of a global focus on the plight of refugees, the causes of their exile, their determination to survive and the contributions they make, as part of the United Nations-designated World Refugee Day celebrated annually on June 20.
