• BellinghamART. July 2-Aug. 17. 9 a.m.-noon or 1-4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Ages 4-5, 5½-8, 8 and older, and teenagers. (Formerly the Monart School of Art) Sixth year offering weekly summer art camps. Each camp offers a creative, educational and fun theme for all ability levels. • Barn Theatre Drama Camp’s 12th annual Summer Festival of Plays. July 9-26, Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Age: 5-18. Two-week drama workshop includes training in all aspects of theater including musical theater. Everyone on stage in 3 or 4 roles in seven culminating performances. • Blaine Jazz Festival for Teens. July 8-14. Age: 12-19. The Pacific Arts Association, the city of Blaine and the city of Bellingham in cooperation with Blaine School District offer rehearsals, combos, improv, composition and other classes in instrumental and/or vocal jazz with internationally recognized faculty. • Camp Hollywood. June 25-July 20, three week-long sessions, 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Age: 10-15. Join in a week of filmmaking fun in the 4th year of Filmmaking Summer Camps. Students create characters and stories using improv and writing exercises, then film and edit their scripts and create a DVD.
