Regardless of your party affiliation we should unite against what I believe to be the shameless pandering evidenced by Sarah Palin's recent remarks regarding Barack Obama.

I find her assertion that "he is not like us," offensive on many levels. It is shameful that the campaign has resorted to stoking the fires of racism and hate.

Do we really want a leader who seeks to divide our country further using racist tactics? We deserve to be governed by the best and the brightest. We will only have that kind of leadership when we say no to this kind of immoral pandering and focus on issues of governance throughout the campaign.

We need a leadership that accepts Americans of all color. Please vote your conscience and say no to hate.
