Well I thought it would go away but like garbage it keeps piling up. The builders of shopping centers don't seem to get the fact that they are real ugly.

In the 1960s, stores were moved to the freeway and they have steadily gotten worse. Wal-Mart and some others could have had the three buildings in the old Home Base store area - with a building on the north side for groceries and a coffee shop in each corner all connected by a covered walk way.

They are now doing this in Ferndale. There is no law that you need only one building. You could go to the department of your choice and get done in hurry. You should not have to wade through a big building, past things that you don't need in the owners hopes that you might buy something else.

Costco could build their warehouse 10 feet away and save all the fighting.

There should be apartments above some of these stores also.

Big stores have created a bad image for themselves and its time they changed that so people can quit arguing about them.
