Have you ever been watching TV and a commercial for an item comes on that promises to make your life better, chores you have to do faster and saves money. Excitedly you pick up the phone and order it. When it arrives you discover that you are the victim of Hollywood packaging. The item was not as big as on TV, it doesn't work as well as it did on TV and the only thing you can say is that you now have less money in your pocket.

This is what I felt like after Sen. Barack Obama's Hollywood production Thursday Aug. 28. There were lots of promises on how my life will be so much better and the packaging was fantastic. But will it perform as promised?

I have my doubts. So I am keeping my credit card in my wallet and I am not going to allow myself to fall victim to this commercial.

The only thing missing was the guy with the beard and blue shirt hyping the Senator and giving out an 800 number.
