Lawyers better than businessmen to serve

In response to a Bellingham Herald letter writer on Aug. 21 complaining the Democratic office holders tend to be lawyers and Republicans are more likely to be business men: Who would you trust in a position of governmental leadership, those beholden to the principle of law or those beholden to "friends" who's goal is the acquisition of wealth at he expense of those of us who are neither lawyers or businessmen.

The current administration in Washington exemplifies results of one of those choices.
