In response to the letter writer in The Bellingham Herald, of Tuesday, Aug.19, I can't believe the author can really believe his position against military recruiting at the Northwest Washington Fair.
Does he not realize that if it wasn't for those young men and women who put their lives on the line to give him the opportunity to live in a free country where in he can complain about those who give him this freedom?
I hope he enjoys staying away from the fair.
