Says many Democrats attended law school

Have you ever considered the fact that the Democratic Party is really the party of lawyers? Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are lawyers and their spouses are lawyers. Gov. Chris Gregoire and her daughter are lawyers.

Since 1984, every Democratic candidate for president has been a lawyer except Al Gore, who didn't graduate from the law school he attended. Every vice-presidential nominee since 1976 except Lloyd Bentsen went to law school. The leaders of each house of Congress are lawyers.

In the Republican Party on the other hand, both president Bushes and vice president Cheney were businessmen. President Reagan was a sports announcer and actor. The leaders of the Republican revolution weren't lawyers. Newt Gingrich was a history professor, Tom Delay was an exterminator and Dick Armey an economist. Former House Majority Leader John Boehner is a manufacturer. Former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist is a heart surgeon. Former President Gerald Ford, who left office 31 years ago, was a lawyer.
