Ken Henderson is the best choice to replace Harriet Spanel as state Senator in the 40th District. Honesty, integrity and candor are among Henderson's great strengths. He works with people throughout the district on issues we all care about: health care, education, the quality of our environment, managing growth.

I respect both the public service Henderson gives, but also the insight and creativity he demonstrates in finding solutions..

Henderson showed fiscal constraint while on the County Council, balancing budgets just as the state Legislature must. He earned a solid reputation as a fair and thoughtful arbiter of competing needs and interests.

For these reasons many of us, including Senator Spanel and Representatives Dave Quall and Kelli Lin-ville, endorse Henderson. As you mark your primary ballot in these closing days, please make Henderson your choice for the 40th District Senate.
