I suggest bike riders ride on the sidewalks on busy Lakeway Drive. Very few pedestrians use these sidewalks so it would be easy and safe for bikers and walkers to share them.
We are so lucky in America to have these beautiful, but underused, sidewalks.
So bikers, where there are no bike paths, please use the sidewalk instead of the street. Motorists are worried that we might accidently hit you.
If there is a law that bikers should not ride on sidewalks it seems antiquated for our times.
