This August, Whatcom County voters have the opportunity to re-elect an outstanding local judge, Chuck Snyder.

Snyder has been a fine judicial officer for 18 years, and serves as presiding judge of the Superior Court today. He is the only candidate in the race with judicial experience and temperament, a strong background in both criminal and civil cases, and widespread support.

Snyder has heard every type of case before the Superior Court, from felonies to his decision requiring the state to follow its own laws protecting foster children.

He is hard-working, fair, courteous nd ethical. He implemented several successful programs to make the court more effective and less costly to taxpayers, earning the Washington Judges' Foundation Award.

Snyder has the widespread support of Whatcom County citizens, including business, labor and community leaders, civil and criminal attorneys, victim's advocates, law enforcement officers, and all of the judges.

He is known throughout the state as an excellent jurist, teaches at the state judicial college. He has been endorsed by more than 60 superior court judges and Washington Supreme Court Justice Gerry Alexander.

Judge Snyder is the right choice for Whatcom County.
