closeI would like to encourage folks to vote for Ken Henderson for the 40th District state Senate.
There is no other candidate better suited to carry on the work that Sen. Harriet Spaniel has done for us. That is why she and Rep. Dave Quall have endorsed Henderson.
I doorbelled with Henderson when he ran for the County Council and I proudly walk with him again. He is no one trick pony. He has strong environmental credentials and positions, but he is so much more.
He doesn't just talk health care reform; he has lived it as a practicing optometrist locally as well as through his volunteer work in Central America.
He understands the needs and importance of the small business. He has built up and operated his own business in Whatcom, Skagit and San Juan counties.
He understands the need for education reform not just in theory, but also through experience with his own children's individual learning styles.
Henderson is the most experienced, progressive Democrat in this race. Vote to continue Sen. Spanel's legacy. Vote for Ken Henderson.
