I am writing this letter to urge Whatcom County voters to re-elect Judge Charles Snyder for another term at superior court.

There is truth and then there is legal truth, the burden necessary to determine innocence or guilt. It requires technical skill and knowledge, tempered by experience and reason. To this extent, Judge Snyder serves this county well. His decisions are measured by the requirements of the law, the safety of the community, and the circumstances of the individual appearing before his bench.

The innovative program of Drug Court continues to be a success due in large extent to his stewardship. It provides cost effective opportunities for those enmeshed in addiction and criminality to build lawful and productive lives.

For a safer community, please re-elect judge Snyder.
