closeChuck Snyder has proven himself to be an effective and highly qualified Superior Court judge who has served Whatcom County with integrity and honesty.
Snyder's initiation and development of the teen court and drug court programs have benefited both our community and its participants. The teens who have been involved in these programs become better informed and thoughtful citizens from the experience.
Snyder has an extensive history of community involvement both inside and outside of the courtroom. As a board member he listens to all sides of a discussion, considers the comments and then renders a concise intelligent opinion that frequently resolves the contentious issues being discussed.
Snyder has a genuine forthright personality with a good sense of humor. He cares about the people and cases that appear before him. He's unbiased and honest. Whatcom County is fortunate to have Snyder serving on the Superior Court.
Snyder's opponent is running as a lawyer. Snyder is running as a judge. There is a big difference. This is why we support Chuck Snyder for another term as Superior Court judge.
