If you think pursuit of justice should be the driving motivation of a judge, you want Doug Shepherd to be your judge.

If you think overwhelming competence is the best qualification for a judge, you want Shepherd to be your judge.

If you think a judge should be fully and totally prepared to decide the cases before him, Shepherd will be that judge.

With nearly 30 years of extensive, complicated and notably successful trial work, representing hundreds and hundreds of people, Shepherd has vastly broader courtroom experience than any incumbent judge in Whatcom County.

It is rare that a person with such a robust and successful career as a trial lawyer is willing to make his vast skills and experience available to the entire community. It is an opportunity the voters of Whatcom County should eagerly embrace.

If you want a judge who passionately cares about the quality of justice in Whatcom County, vote for Doug Shepherd on Aug. 19.
