closeI strongly urge every Whatcom County voter to vote for the best man, Doug Shepherd, for the position of Whatcom County Superior Court Judge, Position 3. I have personally observed over many years Shepherd's enthusiasm for the law and his determined thoroughness in his mission to understand the details of a case.
He has practiced law in Whatcom County for 29 years and appeared before 9th Circuit Court, Washington State Supreme Court and superior courts in Whatcom, Skagit, Snohomish and King Counties, giving him a vast knowledge of the law and legal system.
His belief that the courts belong to the people and not the judges is inspiring to me, and he insists that everyone has the right not only to be heard, but truly listened to. That's the kind of judge we need in Whatcom County.
