closeAlthough the fall elections seem distant, I think it is important that we consider now who we will elect to replace state Sen. Harriett Spanel. Several candidates filed for
the seat in early June, but only one has the experience, background, and compassion to continue the excellent job performed by Sen. Spanel. That person is Ken Henderson.
Henderson’s previous elected experience, his business background and his compassion for others as an optometrist providing eye care for the less fortunate will be a great asset in the Legislature.
His lifetime of service to the community will help him as he continues to deal with unchecked growth, healthcare issues, and environmental concerns.
I share Henderson’s vision of the future — responsible growth, affordable healthcare
for all, and a state government that works for all of us.
