What’s missing in Iowa? I’ve been watching the news and this thought came to mind concerning the Midwest. The place is flooded, homes and lives are in ruin. Neither Al Sharpton nor Jesse Jackson are anywhere to be seen.

Every photo I have seen shows people working to save their stuff, neighbors help rebuild levies and to my knowledge no one has cried for the government to save their butts. No looting, no shooting.

What’s missing? Why is this so different from New Orleans?
