Says Obama stands for more government

It’s a long way from Bunker Hill, the Oregon Trail, the Great Depression and World War II, which tempered the men and women of this country into steel.

Since then, what has turned us into a nation of whining, sniveling wimps too lazy to work, who expect their neighbors to pay for their health care and bail them out for making stupid decisions?

Millions of illegal immigrants, supported by their liberal allies, demand welfare, citizenship, free health care, food, shelter and freedom from deportation regardless of crimes committed.

They are joined by tens of millions of others who have discovered the “Nanny State,” promoted by liberal politicians who promise to tax the rich out of existence, nationalize the oil industry, whose percentage of profits are well in line with most American businesses, and provide every conceivable want as a right.

As most know nothing of history, they cannot fathom that a government big enough to give everything can take everything away.

Those of you who believe you have a right of “womb to tomb” protection will vote for Barack Obama. But forget the “womb” part. He is an ardent supporter of partial-birth abortion.

From men to marshmallows, it has been a very short trip, indeed.
