Bellingham gay pride celebration begins Wednesday

BELLINGHAM - Bellingham's eighth annual pride celebration will take place from Wednesday, July 8, to Sunday, July 12.

The events will include a bar crawl on Thursday in downtown Bellingham, an anniversary celebration of the Betty Pages at 9 p.m. Friday at Rumors Cabaret and a Bellingham gay pride show at 6 p.m. Saturday, also at Rumors Cabaret.

The big event is on Sunday with the pride parade kicking off at 11 a.m. from Bellingham High School. The parade will be followed by a festival with food and entertainment at Depot Market Square on Railroad Avenue.
