BELLINGHAM — City Council members withheld major judgment on a proposal to create nine new housing types and will have their next discussion on the issue July 13.
At that time the council will have a work session where staff also will likely answer the bulk of public comments, said Councilman Jack Weiss.
On Monday night, June 29, council members heard more than three hours of public testimony on the proposed “infill toolkit,” which is designed to promote more density in certain areas of the city and provide smaller, more affordable housing options for residents.
