MAPLE FALLS - Two men were sent to St. Joseph Hospital Sunday, June 28, after an early morning crash on Kendall Road, according to a Washington State Patrol news release.
Joshua R. Moon, 26, of Shoreline, was driving north on Kendall Road about 2:20 a.m. when his 1988 Chevrolet Beretta drifted off the road, hitting a tree and a power pole. He was taken to the hospital with his passenger, David S. Campbell, 27, of Maple Falls. Moon was treated and released, and Campbell remained in the hospital in stable condition Sunday evening.
Officers suspect that alcohol was the cause of the crash, and charges are pending.
