DEMING — Deming residents may have felt the earth tremble at 6:56 a.m. Monday, April 27, when a 2.4-magnitude earthquake hit the area.
The epicenter was located near the intersection of Truck Road and Mount Baker Highway, but its depth had not been determined, according to the University of Washington seismology lab.
No damage was reported.
